They say that when you die, your life flashes before your eyes. Fabrice Muamba has been there. He knows.

Muamba is the Bolton Wanderers footballer who collapsed during a televised FA Cup match with Tottenham Hotspur. His heart stopped beating for 78 minutes but miraculously he recovered.

Up to that point Muamba's journey had been anything but ordinary. As a child he fled to the UK to escape the horror of civil war in his native Congo before forging a professional career with Arsenal, Birmingham City and Bolton.
